CA -- The Club at Big Bear Village, a luxurious private residence club and
high-end resort located at the entrance to The Village of Big Bear, announced
yesterday that it has received final authorization from the California
Department of Real Estate to complete fractional property sales. The Club
received the Final Subdivision Public Report, or more commonly, the 'White'
report, at the end of September this year.
Business partners of Last
Resort, LLC, Richard La China and Ray Gibson purchased the Club at Big Bear
Village in January of 2004, marking one of the largest real estate transactions
in Big Bear history. The property specializes in selling fractional ownership of
its three and four-bedroom luxury villas. The Club currently has 123 fractional
ownership properties for sale and plans to grow the property by building 40 more
villas that will represent 400 additional available fractions.
The Club
at Big Bear moved quickly on completing sales once the final report was granted
last month. To date, the Club has 12 fractional sales scheduled for closing and
a long reservation list of potential buyers who have expressed interest in the
property. Further, the Club is receiving a steady stream of walk-in traffic to
their sales gallery, generating a positive response to the fractional ownership
opportunity.
"The luxurious amenities of the Club and its premier
location, combined with the benefits of fractional ownership, make the villas a
compelling opportunity for buyers," said Richard La China. "Most vacation homes
are used less than 30 days a year. At the Club, owners can have an extravagant
second home when they want it, without paying an extravagant amount for it to
sit empty during the rest of the year."
On Nov. 16, the Club at Big Bear
Village will host a grand opening event for local residents, business owners and
city officials. Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the property's
villas, clubhouse, recreation and workout facilities, entertainment lounges and
pool areas. Richard La China and Ray Gibson will host the event, with Big Bear
Mayor Darrell Mulvihill and City Manager Michael Perry as keynote speakers.
